Where has the lake gone?
Mountain Lake Virginia, a mountaintop property located in picturesque Pembroke, Virginia. A resort for the whole family. The property gained fame when the original Dirty Dancing Movie was filmed with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray.
The lake found at the top of this mountain has receded and the lake bed currently holds only a small pond of water. Certainly a sad sight for those who have gone swimming in the lake atop Salt Pond MOuntain.
